We know that quality products cannot be made without careful design and craftsmanship. Yet for life, something so precious, how many people have been thoughtfully shaped and nurtured? Many parents hope their children will not lose at the starting line and make all kinds of plans for their studies and careers. But such planning mostly focuses on helping them achieve success, rather than educating them to become wholesome human beings. They care about what survival skills their children can acquire, yet pay little attention to what kind of personality the child will develop and who they will grow to be — a classic case of putting the cart before the horse.

When life is well‑ordered and conduct upright, the mind tends to stay sound. Conversely, chaotic living and improper behaviour usually leave the heart tangled and disturbed.
